The 2022/2023 season got underway for the Gialloblù Youth Sector and another weekend of commitments has come to an end. Here are all the results.
U19 INTERRIVAL GROUP A: DUAL – VERONA VOLLEY 0-3 (20-25; 15-25; 14-25)
At the Palazzetto di Dossobuono, the Gialloblù team was able to impose itself without particular worries in the derby against Dual. A little apprehension in the first set with a few too many errors in reception and on the net, then the match was downhill. Coach Marconi was able to experiment with some tactical variations, such as the choice of using two setters at the same time. In the second and third sets Migliorini and his team mates capitalized, winning a well-deserved victory. Good performance of the returning Carosi, now completely recovered after the foot surgery.
SERIES C: ELMAP VBV – VERONA VOLLEY 3-0 (25-15; 25-17; 25-16)
Bitter debut in the first outing of the Serie C championship. Complicated match for the Veronese boys against the expert team from Vicenza. To determine the defeat was the obvious technical gap between the two teams, highlighted above all in the fundamentals of the second row, where the hosts defended and received almost flawlessly. At the Comunale Lisiera, Verona Volley received an important lesson for the rest of the season. Coach Marconi will have to work on the kids’ heads to prevent them from running into trivial mistakes and to better manage some situations.
U17 INTERRITORIAL GROUP A: VERONA VOLLEY – DUAL WEST 3-0 (25-19; 25-15; 25-17)
In the U17 championship, the race of the boys of coach Marchesan continues, who at the Don Milani gym in San Massimo managed to beat the tenacious opponents of the Dual West. Despite the full tally brought home thanks to a clear 3-0, the Gialloblù team did not offer the best version of itself, showing little aggression in some situations. These are the words of the Scaligero coach at the end of the match: “Every match we play must serve us to build our game and we cannot afford to take the field with an attitude that is too passive as on this occasion. We are happy with the result. less for performance “.
U15 INTERRITORIAL GROUP A: VERONA VOLLEY – CMO VOLLEY LEGNAGO 2-3 (19-25; 25-16; 25-18; 28-30; 16-18)
The yellow-blue U15 championship journey begins with a tie-break defeat, which falls within the friendly walls of Don Calabria at the hands of CMO Volley Legnago. From the first set, the game was uphill for the home team, who suffered from the tension of the first outing of the season. After losing the first set, coach Murtas’ troop leveled the score, then moved on in scoring. The opponents took the challenge to 2-2, then imposed themselves in the fifth set. A point conquered, with the awareness of having to improve in some fundamentals to snatch the first victories.
