Another intense weekend of commitments has passed to the archives for the Gialloblù Youth Sector. Here are all the results:
SERIES C – GROUP A: VERONA VOLLEYBALL – PINK VOLLEYBALL 2-3 (25-22; 22-25; 25-22; 18-25; 8-15)
Good performance by the guys from Verona who snatched a precious point from the third force in the group. Forced to give up the injured Massafeli and Ferri, struggling with some flu symptoms, the Scala family made up for the absences well. With the balance of Carosi in the defensive phase and the efficiency in attack of Artoni and Padovani the first set ended in the best way. The race continued on the tracks of balance also in the following two partials, with the two teams battling it out. Coach Marconi’s team went 2 to 1, suffering the return of the opponents, who brought the match to the tie-break. In the final set, the expenditure of energy made itself felt and the guests had the upper hand. Worth noting is Artoni’s test, which exceeded 60% positivity in attack.
SERIES D – GROUP B: KOSMOS – VERONA VOLLEYBALL 3-0 (25-14; 25-15; 25-16)
Another defeat for coach Marchesan’s boys, who failed to get the first points of their season away against Kosmos. Despite having made up for two defeats in the first three outings, the Treviso players showed greater compactness, not allowing the Gialloblù to enter the game and have their say. The challenge ended with a clear success by the local team, while the visitors went home once again empty-handed.
U19 INTERTERRITORIAL – GROUP A: VERONA VOLLEYBALL – LEGNAGO 3-0 (25-22; 25-14; 25-18)
The positive streak of the Gialloblù Under 19 team does not stop, as they unleashed another test of quality against the tough Legnago. In the first part, the two formations gave life to an exciting confrontation, responding to each other blow for blow. Then, the Scala family took the measures, closing the accounts in just three sets and confirming the exponential growth they are experiencing. The offensive department offered an excellent performance, as did the rearguard, in particular Artoni, who was positively received in 80% of the cases.
U17 INTERTERRITORIAL – GROUP A: VERONA VOLLEYBALL – INTREPIDA VOLLEYBALL 3-0 (25-13; 25-14; 25-9)
The unbeaten streak of the U17 selection lengthens, who have collected another three points within the friendly walls, maintaining the lead of the standings. The attention remained high during the entire match, with the guests of the Intrepida unable to counter the play of the gialloblù troop. Coach Marchesan was able to draw important indications from his boys, who put into practice what they trained during the week. This is his comment at the end of the match: “In this period we have been a bit unlucky between seasonal influences and injuries but this must strengthen us and not break us down. This group is working really hard during training, only time will give them the satisfaction they deserve”.
U15 INTERTERRITORIAL – GROUP A: REDSKINS BUSSOLENGO – VERONA VOLLEYBALL 0-3 (4-25; 15-25; 8-25)
An impeccable test by the Under 15 boys, who did not fail the external appointment on the Redskins Bussolengo field. Right from the start, the team led by coach Murtas made things clear, closing the first set with a margin of twenty-one points ahead. The music didn’t change in the following stages of the race, where Vantini and his teammates showed attention and character, collecting three precious points. The performance of the opposite Ritacco should be noted. The Gialloblù moved into second position in cohabitation with Dual.
U12 MIXED 6X6 – GROUP A: VERONA VOLLEYBALL YOUNG – VALDALPONE VOLLEYBALL 3-0 (25-4; 25-9; 25-10)
Winning debut for coach Perin’s team, who celebrated his first game as coach with a clear success. The Verona line-up channeled the game in the right direction right from the start, playing smoothly and without any difficulty. The team spirit that has been created has already borne its first fruits. Now the goal is to continue with the same commitment in view of the next match.
