YOUTH SECTOR: SERIE C IS DOING WELL, U19, U17 AND U15 ALSO WIN

Another weekend of competitions has come to an end for the Verona Volley Youth Sector, protagonist in the various categories. Below are the results of all the teams that have been involved.

SERIES C – GROUP A: VERONA VOLLEY – ADUNA BIOACTIVE 3-0 (25-15; 25-20; 25-21)

In the second round of the Serie C championship, Verona Volley redeemed last week’s negative debut, showing off a good presentation. In the home match with Aduna Bioactive, the Gialloblù troop managed to impose their game right from the start, above all thanks to a good consistency in the service, fundamental which made the opponent’s reception apprehensive. The game seemed to get complicated in the second set, but coach Marconi’s boys first balanced the score and then overturned the score. In the final part, the Scaligeri have maintained control of the match, risking something in the final phase, but closing the games on 3 to 0. Worth mentioning is Valbusa’s performance, capable of registering 100% efficiency in attack.

SERIES D – GROUP B: ADMO VOLLEY – VERONA VOLLEY 3-0 (25-20; 25-16; 25-16)

After the move of the first day, the season in Serie D started, with the U17 selection that paid for a bit of emotion and inexperience. The boys from Verona faced the game fearlessly and with courage, managing for most of the match to keep up with the hosts of the Amo Volley. In the final stages of the sets, the superiority of the opponents was seen, especially from nine meters and in some counterattack situations. However, coach Marchesan was able to obtain positive signals for the rest of the year, as he himself underlined at the final whistle: “I am still satisfied, today we bring home many good things and some situations to improve. I liked the aggressive approach. We were in the game, despite the fact that most of the boys are at their very first experience. “

U19 INTERRITORIALE – GROUP A: US CASTELLO ASD – VERONA VOLLEY 0-3 (12-25; 15-25; 8-25)

Everything was easy for the Gialloblù U19 in the trip to Vicenza on the US Castello Asd field, which had to surrender to the overwhelming power of the guests, able to prevail 3 to 0. Coach Marconi’s team channeled the match in the right direction from the first set, above all thanks to a great performance in attack and to the service of Massafeli and Padovani. By virtue of the large advantage acquired, in the two subsequent partials the Scaligero coach was able to experiment with new solutions. The huge difference between the two formations was evident especially from the nine meters, where Fontanabona and company showed they have important skills.

U17 INTERRITORIAL – GROUP A: VOLLEYBALL LEGNAGO – VERONA VOLLEY 0-3 (17-25; 20-25; 16-25)

Success in ease for the U17 selection in the match against a direct competitor for the first place in the provincial group. Menazza and his teammates showed great versatility, which allowed them to maintain a good understanding regardless of the players on the pitch. Coach Marchesan had the opportunity to try new solutions, which provided him with good indications in view of the next engagements. These are the words of him at the end of the match: “Today we kept a good level of concentration, pushing well on the serve and putting our strength-counterattack-in the foreground”.

U15 INTERRITORIAL – GROUP A: CASELLE DUAL – VERONA VOLLEY 0-3 (13-25; 12-25; 16-25)

After the tie-break defeat remedied in the opening match, the U15 of Verona Volley began to engage. In fact, after the success obtained during the week in the recovery of the first day, the boys of coach Murtas also got the better of the Caselle Dual, pierced with a 3-0 without history. An excellent performance by the whole group, who through a simple but effective game collected the full loot. All the members of the team have offered their contribution to the cause to achieve the maximum result, a comforting sign for the next appointments.
