NATIONALS: THREE POINTS FOR MOSCOW, MOZIC AND DZAVORONOK

The group stage of the thirty-third edition of the European Championships continues at high intensity, with the rankings of the groups starting to be defined. Three Rana Verona players took to the field yesterday: Mosca with Italy, Mozic with the Slovenian shirt and Dzavoronok with the Czech Republic. All three collected the entire stake.

ITALY

The positive streak continues for coach De Giorgi’s boys, who also overcame the Serbian obstacle in the PalaBarton stadium in Perugia. After the victories obtained in the first two outings, the Azzurri also confirmed themselves in the third match of the continental event with the result of 3-0, thus remaining in the lead of Group A with full points. Leandro Mosca did not take part in the match against the Serbian team. Third leg for Italy against Switzerland on Monday.

SLOVENIA

The second was also good for Mozic and his companions, who didn’t have any problems against Finland, who were clearly beaten. A success that allowed the Slovenian team to maintain the leadership of the Group B standings. The spiker born in 2002 proved to be in excellent condition, as demonstrated by the 17 points scored during the match (61% positivity in attack). Furthermore, his performance was also spiced up by 3 walls. Another appointment today: the opponent will be Spain.

CZECH REPUBLIC

After the defeat suffered in the opening match, the Czech Republic immediately found redemption, collecting the first points of its journey in the competition. The red and white team defeated Denmark 3 to 1, thus climbing to 3 in the standings in Group C, on an equal footing with Holland, Dzavoronok’s next opponent today. Seat four took to the field for a brief fraction of the game.
