NATIONALS: SLOVENIA CLOSES ITS JOURNEY IN THE VNL IN THE QUARTER-FINALS

Slovenia’s adventure in the fifth edition of the Volleyball Nations League ends in the quarter-finals. The team led by coach Cretu had finished the first phase of the competition in seventh place thanks to a path characterized by eight wins and four defeats with Rok Mozic protagonist on several occasions.

In the last outing of the tournament against Japan, the spiker born in 2002 ended up on the scorer’s table 10 times, clocking 8 points in attack and 2 for blocks. Overall Mozic grounded 164 balls in the twelve games he played in this VNL 2023, with 14 winning blocks and 10 direct points from nine meters. Furthermore, the Scaliger hammer also received an MVP award at the end of the match against Serbia.
