The group stage of the 2023 European Championships is drawing to a close. The four Rana Verona players therefore continue their journey with their respective national teams and begin to look towards the round of 16. Italy and Slovenia are already certain of going through to the round, while Bulgaria and the Czech Republic have yet to qualify.
ITALY

SLOVENIA
Slovenia also kept the lead in its group thanks to the undisputed success against Croatia. The spiker born in 2002 grounded 10 balls, one of which was blocked. Today they challenge Bulgaria for the stage that will put an end to the first part of the tournament for the Slovenians.
CZECH REPUBLIC
Entire post conquered for Dzavoronok and his companions against Montenegro, who slipped their second victory in the competition, confirming their fourth place. Thanks to this result, the Czech Republic has moved closer to the next round, which they will try to put in the safe with the last outing, where they will face North Macedonia. The Czech place four did not take part in the meeting.
BULGARIA
In Group B, Coach Konstantinov’s team had the worst against Croatia in the match a few days ago, however remaining in fourth position. Aleks Grozdanov played all four sets of the match, totaling 7 points. The Bulgarian central defender also blocked opponents from the net twice, while in attack he finished with a 71% positivity. This evening Bulgaria will face Slovenia: access to the round of 16 is up for grabs.
