NATIONAL TEAMS: MOSCOW IN THE EURO 2023 FINAL, MOZIC IS PLAYING FOR THIRD PLACE

Leandro Mosca’s Italy wins the semi-final against France and takes the pass to the last act of the European championships. For the center back born in 2000, this is the second international final in the space of a year after the World Cup. And once again the opponent will be Poland, who beat Mozic’s Slovenia in the other match of the Final Four of Euro 2023. There will therefore be two Rana Verona players competing for a medal in this edition of the continental event.

ITALY

Absolute domination of Coach Ferdinando De Giorgi’s boys against France in front of almost 10 thousand spectators at the PalaLottomatica in Rome. The Azzurri approached the match in the best way, immediately moving ahead in the score. Second partials in fluency, third more balanced, but Italy does not get upset and closes the practice in three sets. Mosca took to the field from the first minute, seasoning his performance with 4 points overall, including one from nine meters.

SLOVENIA

The semi-final started well for the Slovenian team, but they then lost to Poland during the match. Cretu’s team broke the deadlock, winning the first half, but their opponents found an immediate reaction and brought the match back to a draw. In the third and fourth sets Slovenia struggled to contain the Poles, who achieved success and progressed to the next round. Mozic proved to be the best of him in terms of scoring, with a total of 15 points. The number 19 also recorded 3 winning blocks and 1 ace.
