After the friendly tests played in recent weeks, the official lists of the national teams that will take part in the next edition of the Volleyball Nations League have been released. Verona Volley will be well represented, so much so that it will have four athletes on its roster who will face Week 1, scheduled from 6 to 12 June in Canada and Japan.
The blue coach Ferdinando De Giorgi has included central defenders Leandro Mosca, world champion with Italy last year, and Lorenzo Cortesia, who in 2021 had lifted the European title in the list of 14 players called up.
Bulgaria, on the other hand, has called up another central defender from Verona, namely Aleks Grozdanov, while the spiker Rok Mozic will be the protagonist among Slovenia’s ranks. The two will also play opposite each other in the direct clash between their teams.
